About Cymophane:
Cymophane is a variety of the mineral chrysoberyl, which is an aluminate of beryllium.
It is also known as "cat's eye" because of its distinctive optical property called chatoyancy, which causes a narrow band of reflected light to resemble the slit eye of a cat but ours is a consistent cream colour with a slightly golden yellow hue.

Cymophane is typically yellowish-green in colour and is commonly found in Sri Lanka, Brazil, and India.
It is a relatively hard gemstone, with a hardness rating of 8.5 on the Mohs scale, therefore it's one of the hardest gemstones.

In addition to its unique optical property, cymophane is also believed to have some metaphysical properties.
It is said to promote clarity of thought and enhance intuition, making it a popular gemstone for meditation and spiritual practices. It is also believed to bring good luck and prosperity to its wearer.

Our Yellow Gold coating is more special than traditional fashion jewellery.
Rather than a thin gold plating or flash plating on Copper/Brass, which turns green or black within a very short time, we've created our jewellery only with precious metals.

We've created the base with Solid Sterling Silver, then added a protective layer to prevent the metals from enthusing, then coated the ring with up to 6x thicker Gold coating and then applied an additional coating to protect the gold for a long-lasting effect.

This coating may wear off over time, therefore we would highly recommend removing your jewellery when washing your hands and showering to ensure the longest life possible.
